Happy ako with the recipient of our #SPInitiative which is the municipality of Agoo, La Union. We have donated cash proceeds that they in turn will use to procure fruit tree seedlings for their TreeTion program. The said seedlings will be distributed to grade school pupils with the idea that the fruit trees will mature by the time they graduate high school and the income from the harvest can be used to fund their college expenses.

They have this spacious dormitory for co-eds at P500 per pax. They only have six beds available so I had to distribute the others to different accommodations but that’s our favorite. Kahit di ko talaga nakita ung itsura lol.Anyhow, they have other room types apart from the dormitory room.

For tours to Tangadan Falls, please make sure to reach out to San Gabriel Tourism to book your tour guides. They have published rates of P500 per guide. Please, please avoid getting tour guides from any others as super sketchy ng nakuha ko which is my mistake. Haha di ako dapat nagtrust sa referral lol. I was asking their rate with a given number of pax and they were not disclosing it, saying we’ll establish the rate when we meet. In the end, they were charging us P200 per pax and we were 48 then. Beh, ung totoo sa P9600 na half day guide rate nila to think we brought our own vans. Dinaig pa ung two-day porter namin sa Mt. Purgatory na P900, tagabuhat pa ng 10 kilos worth of stuff. You can do the early morning trek like be there by 6 am so hindi pa mainit. The drive to Tangadan is about 30 minutes. The trek is about an hour. But since marami kami and some lingered on cliff jump, we took more time lol. Yes, there’s cliff jump for 20 and 10 feet.

Nagbida-bida ako magjump. Una sa 10 feet. Then I realized kakahintay ko na mawala ung kaba ko, nasa 20 feet na ung mga tao. Sabi ko dun na lang ako sa 20 feet since may life vest naman. Sinuot ko na ung life vest. Tapos nagbago uli isip ko. Bumaba ako sa 10 feet para magsuot ng uli ng shorts kasi nakaleotard ako para sa photoshoot na di naman naganap, pinawisan lang ako sa paglong sleeves sa trek. Habang nagsho-shorts dahil back out na ako sa cliff jump, saka nila ako pinilit magjump. Nagjump naman ako. Ang uto-uto ko rin talaga. 

Wala talaga ako sa mga papicture kasi nakatulog ako for the sunset shot nung Day 1. Sorry, guys. Nagpahawak kasi ng drink ung isa kong friend. Akala ko pineapple juice, ininom ko naman. Alak pala siya beh. Nahilo-hilo ako kasi major gulp na ginawa ko sa pagkauhaw ko kahit na nakaubos na ako ng isang buko juice nun. 

We had dinner sa Sandbox kasi they have this live band every night. That night was Boys Over North. Okay. Cute kasi ung vocalist kaya dun ko rin sinuggest saka chill ng vibes. I messaged Sandbox few days ahead that there might be some 60 pax crashing their place to devour food lol.

So when we were there na, aware sila na marami kami and I was the one who brought the group to their place. Nagulat pa ako na they know what school I went kasi nakita siguro sa profile ko after I messaged them via FB. Pinatawag ako sa stage, e, not listening to instructions ako. Akala ko magrerequest lang ako ng kanta na gusto kong ipakanta sa kanila. Sabi ng isa kong friend, gusto niya ng UDD. So I requested Oo. Beh, ako pala kakanta ng nirequest ko e di ko nga kabisado lyrics. Pang-videoke lang ako kaiyak sila. 

Di bale, nakaganti naman ako. Nung nagtanong sila kung sino ung babaero sa mga kasama namin, tinuro namin ung isa naming friend and the song went like, Ba-babaero, ba-babaero, ba-babaero raw si <name of friend> lol

Ung tanging picture ko lang pala ay nung ginawa nila akong human Christmas tree. Ung ang ganda sana ng concept pero ang pinost nilang picture is ung ang chaka ako.  Ginawan pa nila ng meme.
